BALTIMORE, Md. – Will Grimmer carded a 1-over 71 on Day Two of the Big Ten Championships and is tied for fifth place overall (69-71) among 70 players entering Sunday’s third and final round. Ohio State is slotted fifth in the team standings, 15 shots over par (283-292).
Grimmer is in the hunt for Ohio State’s first Top-5 individual performance at the conference championships since Boo Timko placed fourth in 2013.
A day after matching Grimmer’s 69 in the opening round, fellow sophomore Caleb Ramirez came back with a 4-over 74 in round number two. He is tied for 17th with 18 holes to play, joined by Daniel Wetterich in that standing. Wetterich has registered rounds of 72-71 (+3) to make it three Buckeye sophomores inside the Top-20.

Ohio State gets back after it Sunday morning beginning at 8 a.m. ET. The Buckeyes are among the first group to tee it up off of Hole 1, paired with Penn State and Wisconsin for the final round.
