COLUMBUS, Ohio—Freshman Grant Engle shot the best round of his young collegiate career today, carding a four under 68 in the second round of the Gordin Classic at Columbus Country Club. His 68 is not only his career best final, but his first bogey free round that was highlighted by 14 pars and four birdies. Engle’s first round 78 combined with his second round 68 put him at two over for the tournament and catapults him 34 spots up the leaderboard into a tie for 21st.

Colin Bowles was the next best scorer of the three Ohio State individuals, following up his first round 73 with a second round 76 to go to five over for the tournament and hold down a share of 32nd place. After shooting 84 and 77 in rounds one and two, Justin Wick sits in a tie for 68th.

The final round of the Gordin Classic tees off tomorrow morning at 9 AM at Columbus Country Club.
