With the Ohio State hockey 2015-16 season nearing, get to know the Buckeyes.

No. 44 Anthony Greco, a senior criminology major from Queens, N.Y., was the Buckeyes’ leading goal scorer in 2014-15, posting 15 goals (including two hat tricks) and ranking second with 23 points en route to Honorable Mention All-Big Ten accolades. He has skated in 89 games in his career and enters his senior campaign with 25 goals, 24 assists and 49 points as a Buckeye. Over the summer, Greco participated in the Detroit Red Wings development camp as a free agent as well as skated with a team in Finland.

The Buckeyes open the season with an exhibition game in 44 days, as they host Brock in Value City Arena. The regular season begins with a home-and-home series against Bowling Green Oct. 9-10, with the opening game in Columbus.

The most fun thing I did this summer was … travel to Finland to skate and train.
My all-time favorite summer memory is … training and preparing for the next season.
This summer I visited … Finland and Detroit.
My favorite spots in Columbus are … my apartment and The Schott.
One thing I focused on this summer to prepare for the season was … shooting the puck quicker.
The food I would bring to a picnic is … I don’t do picnics.
The games I’m most looking forward to this season are … Michigan and Minnesota.
One of my goals for this season is … to win the Big Ten.
My favorite song to hear during warmups is … anything but Centuries by Fall Out Boy. Anything.
My favorite part of hockey is … the SPEED.
One vacation I would like to take is … to England to watch soccer with my dad and uncles.
This summer, my golf game … was arguably still better than Tiger Woods’ 2015.
The class I’m looking forward to this semester is … Sociology of Violence.
My favorite thing about the Schott is … the lockerroom.
When I was home this summer, the thing I missed most about Columbus was … Columbus was home this summer. I missed my mom, dad and brothers in New York.
I am excited for the 2015-16 season because … it’s a clean slate opportunity to take advantage of and achieve as much as I can and we can as a team.
