I wear #12. It was given to me during my stint with the national team and I’ve ran with it ever since. Plus Christine Sinclair and Alphonso Davies wear it at the senior level which is pretty neat.
Who has helped you the most in your sport? How?
My parents for sure, they’ve always been my biggest fans and have supported me through everything. No matter how far or early they’ve always been there. It’s also what made my World Cup debut so special, being able to have them down there in Brazil was a really proud moment for them.

Although I follow the NHL heavily, I would play baseball if not for soccer.
What’s your favorite moment in your sport?
My favorite moment has to be qualifying for the World Cup with the National Team. We won in penalties which made the celebration that much sweeter. We were the first Canadian Men’s team to qualify for the event in a while and it was truly a special group to work with.
What is your favorite city/place your sport has taken you? Why?
Although the World Cup in Brazil was amazing, being able to travel to Daejeon Korea and play in front of 22,000 was an experience I will never forget.
