Nov. 1, 2016 COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State football fans will have the chance to take advantage of unique gameday experiences and potential in-game seat upgrades for the Buckeyes’ 8 p.m. game vs. Nebraska Saturday in Ohio Stadium.
The Ohio State Department of Athletics has partnered with Experience to allow fans to get closer to the action with in-game seat upgrades and a variety of experiences for purchase with a smartphone.
Fans can register online through OhioStateBuckeyes.com/Experience for access to both experiences and seat upgrades, and also opt-in to receive text notifications when they become available.
Once registered, experiences can be purchased (while opportunities last) throughout the week, starting at 5 p.m. Tuesday for the Nebraska game. Experiences for this week’s game include pregame tours of Ohio Stadium, pregame tour of locker room, early entry into Ohio Stadium, pregame field access, kickoff tee runner and more.
Fans taking part in gameday experiences must follow the Ohio Stadium bag policy. Bags or purses of any size are NOT permitted in Ohio Stadium. Wallets and wristlets no larger than 5″x8″x1″ are permitted. All items and persons entering Ohio Stadium are subject to inspection.
Guests entering with medical or child care needs must enter through the Steinbrenner Band Center entrance (between Gate 10 & 12) or at the Press Entrance (between the Huntington Club and Gate 23) to have their items inspected.
Seat upgrades for the Nebraska game may also be available starting Saturday afternoon. Beginning three hours before game time, fans who already have a ticket to the game may purchase a seat upgrade from open seat inventory and immediately receive new seat locations on their smartphone. Seat upgrades, if available, are typically offered in lower level midfield, sideline and end zone sections, and upper level sideline sections. The seat upgrades are not substitutes for a game ticket and purchase of a game ticket is required for entrance into Ohio Stadium.
