%^$Steve Bellisari’s 18-yard touchdown run in the second quarter was the longest TD run of his career. His previous best was against Cincinnati (11-yard run). He ended the day with a season-best 272 total yards.%^$

%^$Michael Wiley rushed for 86-yards to pass Raymont Harris (1990-93) for seventh-place on the all-time Ohio State rushing ladder. He now has a total of 2,715 yards. %^$

%^$Jonathan Wells notched his first two-touchdown game in his career. Wells recorded a 1-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and a third-quarter 3-yard TD. %^$

%^$Senior Kevin Houser posted his first career touchdown off a Steve Bellisari 3-yard pass in the second quarter. After not catching a pass in the first five games, Houser has now caught a pass in the last four games, totaling 5 receptions for 46 yards. %^$

%^$In the second quarter, Ken-Yon Rambo marked his fifth reception over 50 yards this season. Rambo set a school record with three receptions for 50 or more yards in the win over Cincinnati (59-yard, 50-yard and 50-yard). His first 50-plus-yard catch came against Ohio (68-yard touchdown). %^$

%^$Plummer Pick-off
%^$Cornerback Ahmed Plummer recorded his fourth interception this season and 13th in his career. He only needs two more interceptions to break into the top five of Ohio State’s all-time list. Neal Colzie (1972-74) stands at No. 5 with 15 pick-offs. %^$

%^$Moherman/Provitt’s Career Day
%^$Austin Moherman’s 41-yard pass to Vanness Provitt set career highs for both players. Moherman recorded his longest pass, while Provitt posted his longest career reception. It also marked Provitt’s career first TD reception. %^$

%^$Team Season Bests
%^$Ohio State set a new season high with 306 passing yards. The previous best was 269-yards against Ohio. The Buckeyes posted a season high total yards with 531. Ohio State also recorded a season best three interceptions.%^$

%^$Griffin’s No. 45 Retired
%^$Archie Griffin, a three-time first-team All-American running back and college football’s only two-time Heisman Trophy winner, became the first Ohio State athlete to have his uniform number officially retired. Ohio State Director of Athletics Andy Geiger presented Griffin, who played for the Buckeyes between 1972 and 1975, with a framed replica of his jersey at halftime. The presentation was witnessed by Griffin’s 1974 teammates, who were in attendance for their 25th reunion.%^$
