Frozen Four – Practice and Media Day


Coach Steve Rohlik, Sasha Larocque, Mason Jobst and Sean Romeo met with the media to preview the Frozen Four.

The Buckeyes spent time talking to crews from ESPN and Westwood One Radio and shooting videoboard content.


The Buckeyes skated on the Xcel Energy Center ice, with the practice open to the public.

Wednesday night, the Buckeyes attended the Frozen Four reception at the Science Center of Minnesota before heading to team meal.

At the reception, Buckeye junior goalie Sean Romeo was recognized with the Elite 90 award. The Buckeyes swept the hockey Elite 90 awards, as Jacyn Reeves from the women’s hockey team was honored during their Frozen Four appearance.

Junior captain Mason Jobst visited with NHL Network through the Arena Cam in Xcel Energy Center.
