MADISON, Wis. The Ohio State women’s cross country team completed the 6k Wisconsin adidas Invitational on Friday afternoon while the ‘B’ Team captured a victory at the 5k Wilmington Fall Classic.

Freshmen Nicole Hilton (21:29) and Michelle Thomas (21:38) were the first two members of the Scarlet and Gray to cross the line. Senior Jordan Jennewine finished immediately behind Thomas with an identical time. 

In one of the toughest college meets of the season, Washington took first with a score of 199. The Buckeyes scored 898 points to finish 38th.

Ohio State ‘B’ Team Wins in Wilmington
The Ohio State ‘B’ team took first at the 5k Wilmington Fall Classic Friday afternoon with 83 points.

The Buckeyes earned the victory against a field of more than 240 athletes by placing three runners in the top 15 and all five competing athletes in the top 30. Freshman Katie Betts (18:46.83) placed fifth and freshman Devin Flood crossed the line in 18:56.07 to finish seventh overall. Fellow freshman (19:16.23) also made it into the top 15 as she finished 14th.
