Freeman, a native of Salem, N.H., and a second-team All-Great Western Lacrosse League selection last season, has started the last 18 games for the Buckeyes. He has 11 saves in each of the first two games this year. He has 13 career games with double-digit saves and has 10 or more stops in each of his last eight games.

Freeman and the Buckeyes will host No. 14 UMass at noon Saturday inside Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Seating is limited, and fans are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets through to secure a spot. In addition, the parking lots around the arena will be busy because of a home men’s basketball game with a noon tipoff. Fans should plan to arrive early and follow the instructions of the police officers working traffic duty. Men’s lacrosse guests should park in the same designated public parking lots used for men’s basketball, including the Buckeye Lots, the Fawcett Center Lot, the ABB Lot, the Sisson Lot and the Lane Avenue Garage.
