COLUMBUS, Ohio – Four members of the Ohio State synchronized swimming program received their degrees during a virtual commencement ceremony May 3.

The quartet helped the Buckeyes to three consecutive national championships and was poised for a fourth in 2020 after a perfect regular season before the remainder of competition was canceled.

Phoebe Coffin (human development & family science) and Breanna Malone (arts management) completed their academic careers as four-time OSU Scholar-Athletes while Kaitlyn Carboun (international studies) was a three-time honoree. Wenjng Deng, who completed her career in 2019 and was a two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, graduated with a bachelor’s and master’s in electrical and computer engineering.
