Four First Team All-American Performances Fall on Day Three of NCAAs

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The No. 5 Buckeyes are in sixth place after the third day of the NCAA Championships on Friday. Ohio State has 170 total points and turned in four First Team All-American performances during Friday’s finals.

Meet Notes

  • Felicia Pasadyn started off the night strong for the Buckeyes, earning Honorable Mention All-America recognition in the 400 IM. Pasadyn placed fifth in the consolation final with a time of 4:07.48.
  • Katherine Zenick placed eighth in the 100 fly, touching the wall at 51.11. She earned First Team All-America honors.
  • Amy Fulmer finished fourth in the 200 free consolation final with a time of 1:43.78 to earn Honorable Mention All-America status.
  • The Buckeyes had two First Team All-Americans in the 100 breast. Hannah Bach placed sixth with a time of 58.08 and Josie Panitz finished just 0.04 seconds later, taking seventh place with a time of 58.12.
  • For the second straight night, Lena Hentschel earned Honorable Mention All-America honors, this time in the 3-meter dive. She had an overall score of 334.95 and placed third in the consolation final.
  • The Buckeyes closed out the night yet again with a First Team All-American relay performance. The relay team of Nyah Funderburke, Panitz, Zenick and Fulmer finished the 400 medley relay in 3:28.18 to place sixth.
