COLUMBUS, Ohio – Four members of the Ohio State women’s golf team have earned Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar laurels for the 2019-20 academic year, the organization announced Monday. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics with a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade-point average.
Senior Adeena Shears becomes the ninth Buckeye in program history to earn the distinction three times while junior Sofia Seldemirova earns her second honor. Junior Yukie Sasaki and sophomore Skylar Thompson each received the recognition for the first time.
