Buckeyes one of 65 teams nationally to carry a team grade point average over 3.0
COLUMBUS, Ohio The Ohio State field hockey team was recognized Monday by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association as one of 65 teams in the nation to carry a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher in 2008. This is the third-consecutive season the Buckeyes have been on the list compiled annually by the NFHCA.

A total of 10 Buckeyes were named Academic All-Big Ten honorees this fall. To be eligible for an Academic All-Big Ten selection, a student-athlete must be a letterwinner in at least their second academic year and carry a GPA of 3.0 or better.
