COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State head fencing coach Donald Anthony Jr. and his staff have signed two student-athletes who will continue their academic and athletic careers at Ohio State as members of fencing program.
The newest Buckeyes are: Alina Lee (Dublin, Calif.) and Kelly Feng (Johns Creek, Fla.).
Lee currently attends Dublin High School and specializes in foil. She won silver (junior) and bronze (cadet) at the Pan Am Championships in 2020 in El Salvador. In January, Lee was a Top 8 finisher in Junior Women’s Foil at the North American Cup. She also won a bronze medal at the Junior World Cup in 2020 and a silver in the team event at the Cadet World Cup in Cabriès, France. For the past seven years, she’s competed for the MTeam club program. Lee is also on Dublin’s basketball team.
Feng, who competes in epee, is a member of the Olympic Fencers Club in Johns Creek, Ga. She was a First Team USA Fencing High School All-American in 2020.
