Former All-American linebacker to join Buckeye seniors at midfield for coin toss

Ike Kelley, an All-American linebacker for Ohio State in 1965, will serve as honorary captain Saturday as Ohio State welcomes Michigan to Ohio Stadium at noon.

Kelley was a co-captain on the 1965 Buckeye squad that went 7-2 overall and placed second in the Big Ten. Kelley and his teammates ended the season with a 9-7 victory in Ann Arbor. Kelley and the Ohio State defensive unit allowed more than 14 points in a game just twice in 1965.

Watch Kelley talk about his experience as a Buckeye in the video link above.

The game between the Buckeyes and Wolverines will be televised live by ABC. Fans also can listen to the live Ohio State Radio Network call on Buckeye Vision.
