COLUMBUS, Ohio – Eleven members of the Ohio State men’s gymnastics team have earned College Gymnastics Association All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2020 season. As a team, the Buckeyes posted the ninth-best grade-point average nationally.

Dexter Roettker, Andrew Brower, Sean Neighbarger, Michael Chan, Curtis Chang and Jacob Gricar each recorded First Team CGA All-America Scholar-Athlete laurels with a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher. Earning Second Team CGA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors with grade-point averages between 3.2 and 3.49 were Jakob Murray, Robert Costea, Luke Smigliani and Max Andryushchenko.

These honors cap off an excellent year in the gym and the classroom for the Buckeyes as 10 team members were named OSU Scholar-Athletes, eight were named Academic All-Big Ten and four garnered Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honors. In addition, Chan and Costea earned their degrees at Ohio State Spring Commencement in May.
