No. 19/23 Ohio State Opens Six-Game Home Stand vs. Indiana
COLUMBUS, Ohio – After recording a perfect 4-0 record last week, the No. 19/23 Ohio State softball team returns to Columbus to host six Big Ten games in seven days, starting with a doubleheader vs. Indiana at 5 p.m. Wednesday. The Buckeyes (26-11) have won 13 of their last 15 contests and will face the 11-27 Hoosiers. In Big Ten action, Ohio State is 5-1 while IU sits at 3-5 after recording a series sweep at Minnesota. Buckeyes Host the Akron Zips in Wednesday Night Non-Conference Tilt
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State hosts coach Pat Bangston and the Akron Zips at 6:35 p.m. Wednesday at Bill Davis Stadium. This is the third consecutive season the two schools have met on the ball diamond. The Buckeyes are coming off a 2-1 series win at Michigan State last weekend and enters with a record of 21-10 overall. Akron lost a MAC series to Eastern Michigan over the weekend in Akron and is now 15-19 on the season. – MORE –
