COLUMBUS, Ohio — Jincy Dunne, defenseman for the Ohio State University women’s ice hockey team, has been selected to attend the 2018 USA Hockey Women’s Winter Training Camp, set for Dec. 17-21 at the USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan.

Dunne leads all WCHA defensemen with 15 points this year. Her 14 assists rank third overall in the WCHA, and first amongst defensemen. The redshirt-junior has played well all season, but hit a groove in November, earned back-to-back WCHA Defenseman of the Week honors.

The annual training camp serves as an opportunity to help the top players prepare for upcoming international events, including the 2019 IIHF Women’s World Championship.

Highlighting the roster for the Women’s Winter Training Camp are 22 members of the championship-winning 2018 Four Nations Cup roster, as well as 22 Olympians.

A complete roster (14 defense, 24 forwards, 6 goaltenders), staff listing and on-ice schedule can be found here.

All practices and scrimmages associated with the 2018 USA Hockey Women’s Winter Training Camp will be open to the public. Members of the media can register for a credential here.

The Buckeyes hit the ice this weekend to face the Minnesota State Mavericks in a WCHA series. Puck drop for the series opener is set for 7:07 p.m. ET on December 1.
