COLUMBUS, Ohio – Kim Doran, a director for the Student-Athlete Support Services Office (SASSO) and Buckeye Inclusion committee member, will represent Ohio State in the implementation of a national diversity and inclusion education platform designed to develop inclusive leaders and foster a culture of belonging across social and cultural differences. She will serve as an advisory board member of ‘Return On Inclusion’ (ROI), a recently-launched groundbreaking online learning platform for coaches, athletics administrators and athletics staff.
“My Return On Inclusion is to create an environment where our students and staff are comfortable bringing their whole authentic selves to campus every day, while living and sharing their truths without fear or judgement,” Doran said.
“We hope to raise the bar by creating a new standard of online learning to improve, track and measure the social and cultural competence of coaches and athletic administrators,” Nevin Caple, ROI Founder and Course Instructor, said. “Ultimately, our future diversity is impacted by our current diversity and we want everyone who works with student-athletes to develop the skill set and confidence to lead inclusively.”
