COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University men’s and women’s divers will head to Bloomington, Ind., this week to compete at the NCAA Zone C diving championships hosted by Indiana University at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatics Center.

Saturday (11 a.m.) – Men’s Platform/Women’s Platform
A total of eight divers – four women and four men – will be competing for diving coach Justin Sochor. The ultimate prize: 59 qualifying spots – 30 for women and 29 for men – to the 2023 NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships, which take place March 15-18 at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tenn., and the 2023 NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships, which will be held March 22-25 in Minneapolis, Minn, at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center.

Near-Record Number of Swimmers Qualified for NCAAs
Ohio State women divers will be looking to join a near-record total of Buckeye swimmers who have already qualified for the NCAA championships. Last year Ohio State sent 16 swimmers and divers to the championships and this year 15 swimmers have already qualified in a total of 39 individual event swims.

CSCAA National Invitational Championships this Weekend
This championship week will feature teams of Ohio State male and female swimmers competing at the CSCAA National Invitational Championships in Elkhart, Ind., Thursday through Saturday. The championships will be held at the Beacon Health Aquatic Center.
Ohio State’s teams will be among 20 vying for the invitational title.
