Devyn Etling Named to B1G All-Freshman Team

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Redshirt freshman Devyn Etling was named to the 2018 Big Ten All-Freshman team, the conference office announced Friday. A forward from Ashland, Ohio, Etling earns his first career postseason honor. Fifth-year senior Brady Blackwell was named the team’s Sportsmanship Award winner. Etling has played in 11 matches with 10 starts and leads the Scarlet and Gray with three goals on six points in 2018.

The No. 9 seed Ohio State men’s soccer team travels to Bloomington, Ind., for the first round of the 2018 Big Ten Tournament to take on No. 8 seed Northwestern at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bill Armstrong Stadium. The winner of the match between the Buckeyes (1-14-2) and Wildcats (5-8-5) will face No. 1 seed Indiana at 4 p.m. Sunday in the B1G quarterfinals. The contest vs. the Wildcats will be streamed on BTN Plus.
