HISTORY WITH THE RAILSPLITTERS & TORNADO
The Buckeyes hosted Lincoln Memorial last February in the inaugural meeting and came away with a four-set win (25-23, 25-19, 23-25, 25-23). Ohio State has faced King just one time as well, but on a bigger stage. The Buckeyes eliminated King from the 2018 NCAA Tournament, knocking off the Tornado in the NCAA Play-in Match (25-13, 25-23, 25-18).
BUCKEYES ARE BALLIN’
Ohio State has registered three consecutive sweeps to open the 2020 season. It marks the first OSU has won its first nine sets of a season since 2007.
TOP-15 STATUS
The Buckeyes are back in the AVCA Coaches Poll Top-15 following their 3-0 start. Ohio State is one of four MIVA squads nationally-ranked with two more league teams receiving votes this week.
