The Ohio State University men’s volleyball team is back in St. John Arena this weekend, hosting a pair of pivotal league matches. Friday night (March 22) brings in the Lindenwood Lions (7-15, 3-6 MIVA) while the Buckeyes (7-15, 2-6) do battles against Quincy (5-17, 0-9) on Saturday. Both contests are slated for 7 p.m. ET starts are needed wins for Ohio State’s MIVA Quarterfinals hosting chances.
The Buckeyes are celebrating service dogs Friday night and are partnering with Franklin County Animal Care & Control to host an Adopt-A-Pup event. Come on out and say hi to the canine friends!
HISTORY WITH THE LIONS
Ohio State won the first 12 meetings with Lindenwood before dropping a decision to the Lions in St. Charles, Mo., on Feb. 15. The series started in 2013 when Lindenwood joined the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association. The Buckeyes are 12-1 overall with a 36-9 advantage in sets won.

Ohio State last lost to the Hawks in 2012 and have won 58 of 60 clashes overall. During the current 14-match winning streak, the Buckeyes have surrendered only five sets to Quincy.
BUCKEYES SPLIT NON-CONFERENCE PAIR
Ohio State put the out-of-conference portion of their schedule to rest over the past seven days. Last Friday (March 15), the Buckeyes swept past Lees-McRae College at home before falling in three hard-fought sets at Penn State on Tuesday (March 19).
