A portion of the proceeds to benefit the Stefanie Spielman Fund for breast cancer research

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State Department of Athletics would like to invite you to help “Pack the Schott” this Sunday, Feb. 21 as the Ohio State women’s basketball team takes on Big Ten rival Michigan State at 3 p.m. ET at Value City Arena. Tickets can be purchased at or by clicking on the image below.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support for the fight against breast cancer, part of the WBCA Pink Zone initiative, which is a global, unified effort for the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association’s nation of coaches to assist in raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond.

The Spielman Fund will be on hand accepting donations. Chris Spielman and his children also will be on hand for a special check presentation during the game.

Among the many other perks to Sunday’s game are:

  • Pink construction hats distributed to fans to “Build Awareness” for Breast Cancer
  • Pink Ohio State T-shirts will be on sale in the Official Team Shop and will be thrown out throughout the game
  • Postgame autographs with All-American and two-time Big Ten Player of the Year Jantel Lavender
  • Postgame layups on the arena floor
  • Special band presentation at halftime
  • Matt the “Balloon Guy” on hand making pink ribbon balloons
  • Sloopy Girl apparel will be selling the Official Stefanie Spielman Tribute Shirts outside section 123/124
  • A chance to watch some of the best women’s basketball players in the country at the highest level

The Buckeyes are ranked seventh in the country, have a record of 25-3 and 13-2 in the Big Ten and have already clinched a record sixth straight Big Ten championship outright. They are striving for a top seed in this year’s NCAA Tournament and need your help against one of their toughest Big Ten rivals.
