• Ohio State has captured the two Big Ten titles and finished as NCAA runner-up in each of his first three seasons on staff
• Set a school record with six All-Americans in 2017, only to be broken the following season when eight Buckeyes climbed the All-America podium at the ’18 NCAA Championships
• Coached 10 Big Ten individual championship campaigns in three seasons
• Crucial in the continued development of Olympic gold medalist Kyle Snyder and additional Buckeyes in the upper weights
• Two-time Olympian (2012, 2016), placing fifth in both Games
• Won back-to-back NCAA Division II individual national championships for the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2007 and 2008, lifting the Lopers to the school’s first-ever team title in `08
• Four-time All-American for Nebraska-Kearney
• 2006 Midlands champion
• Moved to Columbus following graduation to train at the Ohio Regional Training Center, making eight national teams and winning the World Team Trials seven times since
• Two-time World Wrestling Championships bronze medalist (2009, 2014)
• Champion of the US Open (2011-15), World University Games (2008), Pan American Games (2011), Medved International (2010, 2013), Cerro Pelado International (2012) and New York AC International Open (2008-10, 2012)
• Hired as an Ohio State assistant coach prior to the 2016-17 season
