Tanner Thompson is in his third season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Ohio State men’s soccer program in the Fall of 2021.

An Indiana University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance, Thompson was a three-time All-American at Indiana, where he lettered from 2013-16.

  • Awarded the Hoosier Award twice, which recognizes a student-athlete for bringing honor and distinction to Indiana University in their representative sport during the academic year
  • Senior Class Award Finalist, which is a national award that focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages them to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities

Following his career at IU, Thompson was drafted by the Minnesota United and later played professionally for the Indy 11.

He then founded TT Skillz Soccer, a soccer training site in Indianapolis. There he operated soccer camps, developed training curriculum and social media marketing strategies.
