St. John comes to Ohio State after spending the past 13 years as an instructor at Universal Cheerleading Association (UCA). She also has been a member and captain of the Brooklynette dance team of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets since 2006 and cheerleading coach at New Rochelle High School since 2001.

“I am excited to add Siobhan St. John to our coaching staff,” Schreiber said. “Siobhan brings a wealth of knowledge in coaching, performing and teaching from various levels in the field. Her experiences with the National Basketball Association’s Brooklyn Nets and working for the Universal Cheerleaders Association will be valuable with our efforts in building the athletes in our program and enhancing the fan experience at university athletic events.”

St. John earned her bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Lehman College in 2006, where she also earned a minor in theater, and a master’s degree in psychology from Chicago School of Psychology in 2013.
