Scott Sherban enters his second season as the volunteer assistant coach for the Ohio State field hockey program in 2019.

Sherban joined the Buckeye coaching staff in the spring of 2018 after being a practice player for the team during the 2017 season.

Prior to coaching for the Buckeyes, Sherban served as the assistant coach for the Olentangy Orange High School JV field hockey team for the 2017 season.

Sherban grew up playing multiple sports, mainly focusing on ice hockey where he played goalie. In 2014, he joined the Ohio State Club Field Hockey team. In July, Sherban was named to the U.S. Men’s National Indoor team.

Sherban graduated from Ohio State in the fall of 2017 and is currently pursuing a master’s of coaching at Ohio State.
