position Volunteer Assistant

Nate Brunner begins his first season as a volunteer assistant for Ohio State men’s lacrosse after being brought on staff in September of 2022.

Brunner comes to Ohio State by way of Cleveland State, where he served in the same role for two years. The Cleveland, Ohio native will work primarily with the faceoff unit.

“Being an Ohio native, I have always been a fan of Ohio State,” Brunner said. “I am thrilled to receive this opportunity from Coach Myers to join his staff and work for this incredible program and institution.”

Prior to his time with the Vikings, Brunner was a volunteer assistant coach at Baldwin Wallace University for two seasons. During that time, the Yellow Jackets went 15-6 and took home the 2021 OAC regular season championship.

On the field, Brunner played two seasons and 21 games for Limestone University from 2017-18. He went 63-of-101 in the faceoff circle and grabbed 32 ground balls. During his freshman season, he was a part of the Saints’ national championship team.
