position Graduate Assistant, Offense
Mike Sollenne is in his first season as a graduate assistant coach for offense at Ohio State. He joined the program in early 2022 and will work with the offensive linemen.
Sollenne comes to Ohio State from the University of Florida where he was the offensive line graduate assistant coach is 2020 and 2021. For the final four games of the 2021 season, he was the Gators’ interim offensive line coach.
Prior to Florida, Sollenne coached tight ends at Austin Peay (2018) and was the offensive line coach/run game coordinator at Nassau Community College from 2016-18.
A native of New York and graduate of Massapequa High School, Sollenne attended Long Island University Post where he played offensive tackle for the Sharks from 2012-15. An All-NE-10 first team honoree as a senior, Sollenne played in the Dream Bowl All-Star game following the 2015 season.
A National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame Hampshire Honor Society member as a player, Sollenne earned his undergraduate degree in physical education from LIU Post. He went on to earn a master’s in sports management from Florida.
Sollenne and his wife, Tori, reside in Columbus.
