Luna Dormet is serving as the student assistant coach for the Ohio State women’s tennis team while completing her graduate degree. She played four years for the Buckeyes and was part of the 2021 and 2022 Big Ten championship squads and the 2021 Big Ten Tournament championship team, earning a spot on the all-tournament team that season. Dormet was 67-19 in singles in her Buckeye career (46-12 in dual matches) and posted a 59-35 overall doubles record, including a 36-25 mark in dual play. She spent time in both the singles and doubles rankings during her career in the Scarlet and Gray.
She was a four-time Ohio State Scholar-Athlete and a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection, as well as a B1G Distinguished Scholar and four-time ITA Scholar-Athlete. Dormet recieved the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award for Ohio State in 2019.
The native of Tours, Francee earned a bachelor’s degree in political science in Spring 2021 and is working toward master’s degree in public policy and management.
