2016-17: All-WCHA Academic Team honoree and WCHA Scholar Athlete … one of 15 finalists for the Hockey Humanitarian Award and a SHAPE America Major of the Year award recipient … named an alternate captain prior to the start of the season, she played in all 37 games as a junior … scored two goals and had nine assists during the 2016-17 season … her first points of the season came on Oct. 14 in a 3-1 win at Bemidji State, a game in which she scored a goal and had an assist … the game against the Beavers started a season-long four game point streak for Spring; she had an assist in each of the next three games (Oct. 15 at Bemidji State and Oct. 21-22 at home against Minnesota) … had an assist in the Oct. 29 game at Minnesota Duluth … assisted on one of the three goals in Ohio State’s 3-0 win against Lindenwood on Nov. 5 … had an assist and was a career-high +3 at Penn State on Jan. 7, a game the Buckeyes won 6-0 … also reached +3 in the 4-0 win over Lindenwood on Nov. 4 … scored OSU’s lone goal on Feb. 3 at home against St. Cloud State … had an assist in the 4-2 home win against Minnesota State on Feb. 11 … assisted on her team’s first goal of the game in its 3-2 overtime playoff win at North Dakota on Feb. 24 … had 54 shots on goal in 2016-17 … had a career-high five shots on Feb. 10 against Minnesota State and twice had four shots: Nov. 4 against Lindenwood and Feb. 11 against Minnesota State … blocked 36 shots, including five against Wisconsin on Dec. 9 and Bemidji State on Jan. 14

2015-16: Played in all 36 games, scoring seven goals and dishing out six assists … her first point of the season came on Oct. 16 against Minnesota … had a season-high three points against Minnesota State on Oct. 24 when she scored twice and had an assist as well … twice had two-point efforts: Jan. 29 against Minnesota Duluth (one goal, one assist) and Feb. 19 against North Dakota (two assists)

2014-15: Played in all 36 games during her freshman campaign… netted four goals and recorded five assists… her first points came against Bemidji State on Oct. 17 in a 5-1 victory; she earned two assists… first goal came on Nov. 1 against St. Cloud State… her second multi-point game came on the road against Bemidji State on Dec. 20, when she also had two assists… credited with two game-winning goals.

Personal

Daughter of Don and Carol… has two siblings, Michael and Eric… father was a defenseman for Team Canada at the 1980 Olympics and also played with the Winnipeg Jets… lists her greatest sports thrill as playing for the Canada’s U18 squad.
