position Graduate Assistant - Defense
A four-year letterwinner (2015-18) at a safety/defensive back at Michigan State University, Grayson Miller joined the Ohio State coaching staff as a defensive graduate assistant in 2020.
Miller was a six-game starter at safety for the Spartans in 2015 and 2016 before moving to linebacker later in his career. He spent the 2019 season as a defensive graduate assistant at Ohio University.
A native of Georgetown, Ky., Miller graduated with his bachelor’s degree in general management from Michigan State in December of 2018. During his career with the Spartans, he totaled 60 tackles and three pass break-ups and was a four-time Academic All-Big Ten selection.
Miller attended Scott County High School where he played football, baseball and ran track. His father, John, was a four-year letterwinner at Michigan State from 1985 through 1988 and twice was a first-team All-Big Ten selection.
