Everrett Gathron arrived at Ohio State University in 2018 after serving eight years at the University of Virginia where he was responsible for wrestling, men’s lacrosse, and softball. Everrett also assisted with 23 other varsity sports with the exception of men’s and women’s basketball.
Prior to his time with UVA Everrett served as the Director of Strength and Conditioning for the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley. While there he was responsible for the design and implementation of all varsity sports and all aspects of the strength and conditioning department.
Everrett is certified by the NSCA as a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), United States of America Weightlifting (USAW) as a Sports Performance Coach – Level 1, and American Red Cross in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
