• Promoted to Director of Recruiting & Operations prior to the 2018-19 season (Volunteer Coach; 2016-18)
• Hauled in the nation’s No. 1-ranked recruiting class for 2019 according to Intermat
• The ’19 signing class included four top-20, three top-6 and the No. 1 recruit
• Ohio State captured the Big Ten title and finished as NCAA runner-up in each of his two seasons as Volunteer Coach (2017-18) before another second place nationals finish in 2019
• Set a school record with six All-Americans in 2017, only to be broken the following season when eight Buckeyes climbed the All-America podium at the ’18 NCAA Championships
• Coached four Big Ten individual champions in both 2017 and 2018
• Joined the program as the volunteer assistant coach in November 2016
• Built Notre Dame College from the wrestling program’s inception in 2006-07, serving as assistant coach from 2006-15 before elevation to co-head coach in the summer of 2015
• Guided the Falcons to the 2014 NCAA Division II NCAA team championship
• As a Division II program from 2012-16, Notre Dame College produced 18 individual national champions, 62 All-Americans and 102 NCAA qualifiers
• Back-to-back-to-back NAIA national titles captured in 2010, 2011 and 2012
• Recruiting prowess responsible for bringing in the No. 1-ranked classes for five straight years between 2012 and 2016 according to Amateur Wrestling News, including the only undefeated four-time national champion in NCAA D-II history (Joey Davis, 133-0)
• Wrestled collegiately at Kent State University and won a Mid-American Conference title at 157 pounds in 1997 en route to NCAA Championships qualification
• Two-time Ohio state champion for St. Peter Chanel High School (alma mater of J Jaggers as well)
• Returned to St. Peter Chanel as an assistant coach for five seasons (2001-06)
