Grimmer becomes the 47th different Buckeye to earn medalist accolades since 1974. The OSU group of tournament champions has totaled 125 titles in the last 42 years. In 13 career events, the sophomore has registered three Top-10 and eight Top-25 performances. Grimmer dominated on Par-3 and Par-4 holes, pacing the field in aggregate scoring of both hole lengths at 2-under for each. His dozen birdies were tied for the most among all competitors.

Fellow Cincinnati native, Daniel Wetterich, flashed his skills in front of the hometown crowd as well. The LaSalle High School product notched a Top-10 finish at 2-over (74-68-73). His share of 10th place individually played a large role in Ohio State placing second in the team standings. All three Wetterich scores were counted towards the team tally in the ‘play 6, count 4’ event.

Addison Coll put forth his third career Top-25 effort, grabbing a piece of 25th at 8-over. He opened 73-72 on Day One before concluding play at 76 in round number three.

Only five eagles were recorded in the tournament, two of which came via Buckeyes on the final day. Caleb Ramirez holed out on the third while Clark Engle’s eagle came on Hole 10. Engle came in at T-30th (+9) with Ramirez following right behind at 10-over and tied for 33rd place.
