COLUMBUS, Ohio – Junior sprinter/hurdler Christina Manning was named Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week Monday by the conference office.

The Waldorf, Md., native turned in an outstanding performance Saturday at the inaugural “Dual” against Michigan with two first-place finishes. Manning won the 60m hurdles in 8.13, the fastest time in Division I this season, the third-best time in OSU history and an NCAA automatic qualifier. Manning also picked up a win in the 200m dash at 24.50, good for the eighth-fastest time in the country this year.
