A New Albany, Ohio, native Buchanan defeated two Top 35 performers at No. 1 singles this past weekend, first downing No. 34 Austen Childs of Louisville, 6-4, 6-7 (1-7), 6-4, then knocking off Texas A&M’s Austin Krajicek, 6-3, 7-6 (7-3).
