The Ohio State Synchronized Swimming Camp is directed by the Ohio State University Synchronized Swim Team’s coaching staff with a focus placed on skill development, improving routine swimming and having fun in an elite, positive learning environment for campers, birth years 2001-2007. The camp features individualized instruction and analysis, a combination of in-water, dry land and strength training exercises, and classroom work. To enhance the overall camp experience of all participants, it is highly recommended (but not required) that campers have competitive synchronized swimming experience prior to attending.

• 45 minute personalized private lesson – no music
• Technical and/or routine skill work as requested by the athlete
OPTION 3: CAMP+ROUTINE CHOREOGRAPHY PRIVATE INSTRUCTION (**SOLD OUT**)

• 45 minute routine sessions with choreography coach
• OSU student-athlete in the water alongside camper
Considered the premier collegiate competition pool in the country, camp is held in the Bill and Mae McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion, which was officially dedicated in 2005, and has hosted 2017 US Collegiate National Championships, 2017 North Zone & North Regional Championship, and the 2015 US Collegiate National Championships.

The Fall Training Camp is open to any and all athletes born in the years 2001-2007. Registrations postmarked before September 1st will be charged the early registration fee. Registrations postmarked on or after September 1st will be charged the late registration fee. Space is limited so register early! You may register online by visiting OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. A 3% processing fee will be added to all online registrations. If registering by mail, please make checks payable to The Ohio State University. Any non-scholastic group of 5 or more that wishes to pay with one check for the entire group must do so ahead of time via mail. Any non-scholastic organization with a group of 5 or more registering the day of the camp must pay with credit card, cash, or money order. No exceptions will be made.
REQUIRED FORMS FOR PARTICIPATION
The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all participants. These forms must be completed during online registrations. Upon receipt of mail-in registrations, we will email a link to complete these forms online. Athletes will not be permitted to participate without these forms.
Campers are responsible for bringing their own equipment. Equipment will not be provided to ANY camper. All campers should bring a swimsuit, cap, goggles, nose clips, yoga mat, towels, warm deck clothes (sweats or parka), water bottle, clothes (including t-shirts, shorts, and athletic shoes for dry land sessions).
Upon processing of each registration, a confirmation notice will be sent by email. A packet of “Important Information for Registered Campers” (including the Parent Consent & Waiver Form and Concussion Information Form) will be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp. This packet will not be separately mailed to campers.
Please check your email regularly, as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents.
A full refund less a $25 administrative fee will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp session. The administrative fee and 3% online processing fee are not refundable for ANY reason.
Because we have to guarantee our number of campers in order to prepare for camp, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp session will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury, illness, or mandatory school event, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor or school is required.
A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and submitted by mail, email, or fax – no phone calls or voicemails. All supporting documentation required for a refund to be approved and processed must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form available at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. Campers who are injured while at camp but remain at camp will not be eligible for any refund.
