Ohio State Men's Volleyball Elite Camp

You are invited to our premier prospect camp, the OSU MVB ELITE Camp. This camp will give experience campers the opportunity to showcase his skills and learn new innovative ways to improve his overall game. Our Elite camp will be instructed by our current staff, various other college and club coaches, and our current student-athletes.

Camp Information

  • Grades: 2027, 2026, 2025, 2024, 2023, and 2022 High School Grad Years.
  • Location: Covelli Center
  • Camp Staff: Current OSU Athletes and Staff. Various other college and junior coaches.

Tentative Schedule

Check-in: Friday August 5th from 5pm-6pm

Instruction:

  • Session 1 (August 5th) 6:00pm-8:00pm
  • Session 2 (August 6th) 8:00am-10:00am or 10:00am-12:00pm
  • Session 3 (August 6th) 12:00pm-2:30pm or 2:30pm-4:30pm
  • Session 4 (August 6th) 4:30pm-6:30pm or 6:30pm-9:00pm
  • Session 5 (August 7th) 8:00am-10:00am or 10:00am-12:00pm
  • Session 6 (August 7th) 12:00pm-2:00pm or 2:00pm-4:00pm

Campers will be placed into the GREY wave or the SCARLET wave based on age and experience. Registrants can expect an email notifying them of which wave they have been placed, approximately two weeks before the camp start date. Both waves will check in and attend Session 1 together.

Enrollment

The fee for the ELITE camp is $450. This fee will include two meals on August 6th & 7th. The camp is open to any and all boys graduating high school in 2026 or before. Previous playing experience is required, this will be an advanced skills focus. (Beginners should enroll in our “Future Buckeyes” camp July 30-31.) There is a maximum number of 80 campers permitted in each wave, so register early! Full payment is required at the time of registration. Discounts

We are happy to offer a $100 discount to any campers who reside outside of the state of Ohio. Documentation must be provided at check in and refunds will be process after the conclusion of camp.

Equipment

All campers are responsible for bringing their own equipment. No equipment will be provided to ANY camper.

Meals and Housing

There will be two meals provided each day based on the timing of your camper’s wave. A campus tour and outdoor grass volleyball will be offered to campers during their breaks. This is a commuter camp, thus no overnight accommodations will be provided. Campers are responsible for providing their own overnight accommodations if needed. Hotel information can be provided upon request.

Required Forms for Participation

The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all participants. These forms must be completed during online registrations. Campers will not be permitted to participate without these forms.

Confirmation

A confirmation of payment notice will be emailed once your registration is approved.  A packet of “Important Information for Registered Campers” (including the Parent Consent & Waiver Form and Concussion Information Form) will be emailed to you and posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps at least 1 weeks prior to the start of the camp. Please check your email regularly as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents.

*Campers will be notified which wave they are in approximately weeks prior to the start of the camp. Campers will be divided based on age and experience. Both waves will receive the same instruction from OSU staff.*

Refunds

A refund less a $30 administration fee will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp. The administration fee and the 3% online processing fee are not refundable for ANY reason.

Because we have to guarantee the number of campers in order to prepare for camp, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of camp will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury, or illness, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor or school is required.

A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and submitted by email – no phone calls or voicemails. All supporting documentation required for a refund to be approved and processed must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form available at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. Campers who are injured while at camp will not be eligible for a refund.

Camp will be headquartered at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center located at 535 Irving Schottenstein Dr., Columbus, OH 43210. The exact check-in location will be determined as camp gets closer.
