The camp is geared towards players of all skill levels entering grades 6 through 8. Camp will follow a proven teaching progression that will allow players at every position and ability level to improve their game. Players will be exposed to fundamental stickwork, position specific skill development, small sided games, and full field play. Goalie’s and face-off will receive position specific coaching and drills. The staff will include current and former Ohio State players, MLL/NLL players, as well as the Ohio State staff. Campers will compete on the world-class Ohio State athletic facilities.

The Middle School ID Camp will take place on the indoor Astroplay turf field, outdoor Astroturf and grass fields at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center on the Ohio State campus. State-of-the-art training facilities will be open during all practice sessions.

The fee for the Middle School Camp is $350 for overnight campers and $200 for day campers. The camp is open to any and all boys graduating high school in 2023-2026. There is a maximum number of campers permitted in this camp per position, so register early! Full payment is required at the time of registration. If registering by mail, please make your check payable to The Ohio State University. Any non-scholastic group of 5 or more that wishes to pay with one check for the entire group must do so ahead of time via mail. Children of Ohio State University employees are eligible to receive a discounted employee rate at $300 per overnight camper or $150 per day camper. Proof of employment (i.e., copy of Employee ID or BuckID) and payment must be provided at the time of registration by mail. Campers registering as part of a group of 10 or more are eligible to receive the discounted group rate at $300 per overnight camper or $150 per day camper. If registering as a group, all registrations must be submitted together, along with payment, by mail. Discounts are not available through online registration. All campers will receive an Ohio State reversible. All campers are responsible for bringing their own equipment. Protective equipment is required for this camp. No equipment will be provided to ANY camper.
Port Columbus International Airport is only 15 minutes from the Ohio State campus. The Ohio State Lacrosse Camp will provide a FREE shuttle service to and from the airport for Instructional Camp Requests for the shuttle must be received in writing no later than 1 week before camp.
Upon processing of each registration, a confirmation notice will be sent by email. A packet of “Important Information for Registered Campers” (including the Parent Consent & Waiver Form and Concussion Information Form) will be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the camp. This packet will not be separately mailed to campers.

A refund less a $25 administrative fee will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 1 week prior to the start of camp. The administrative fee and the 3% online processing are not refundable for ANY reason.
Because we have to guarantee our number of campers in order to prepare for camp, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of camp will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury, illness, or mandatory school event, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor or school is required. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp.
