The Ohio State Dance Team is excited to offer a Junior Jumpstart to allow the class of 2023 the opportunity to showcase their ability in a smaller setting. Dancers will have the opportunity to demonstrate combinations and advanced technical elements. Dancers will also have an opportunity to interact with current team members and coaching staff, as well as learn more about the Ohio State University Dance Team. This event will serve as a key pipeline in recruiting for the 2023-2024 incoming class of the OSUDT.
Due to COVID protocols:
No walk-up campers.
Staff and visitors to all Ohio State campuses are required to wear masks indoors, regardless of their vaccination status. Masks continue to be required outdoors for unvaccinated individuals when they cannot maintain physical distancing. Vaccinated people are not required to mask outdoors. Exception during intense physical activity.
Campers will be put into smaller cohorts during camp.

The registration fee for the Junior Jumpstart is $20 and is open to any and all dancers in grade 11 (for the 2021-2022 school year).
No meals will be provided. The Senior Showcase is a day camp only and no overnight accommodations will be provided.
The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all participants. Please visit OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps to obtain these forms. Please complete, sign and send the forms with your child to check-in – do not send the forms to us prior to the date of camp. Athletes will not be permitted to participate without these forms.
Upon processing of each registration, a confirmation notice will be sent by email. Additionally, a packet of “Important Information for Registered Campers” will be posted online and emailed at least 1 week prior to the start of camp.
Please check your email regularly, as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents.

A full refund will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the clinic. The administrative fee and the 3% online processing fee are not refundable for ANY reason.
Because we have to guarantee our number of dancers in order to prepare for the workshop, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of the event will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury or illness, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor is required.
A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and submitted by mail, email, or fax – no phone calls or voicemails. All supporting documentation required for a refund to be approved and processed must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form available at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. Campers who are injured at camp but remain at camp will not be eligible for any refund.
