This fall, the Ohio State men’s hockey team welcomes eight freshmen to the program.
The newcomers hail from seven states/provinces and are products of the USHL, BCHL, AJHL, NAHL and the US NTDP.
Joining the Buckeyes are:
Forwards Tate Singleton (West Lebanon, N.H./Central Illinois), Michael Gildon (Plano, Texas/U.S. National Team Development Program), Jaedon Leslie (St. Albert, Alberta/Fort McMurray AJHL) and Dalton Messina (Macomb, Mich./Youngstown USHL) and
Goalie Ryan Snowden (Lincoln University, Pa./Central Illinois).
Kamil Sadlocha, a forward who redshirted last season, is also part of the freshman class. The Carpentersville, Illinois, native who played for the Madison Capitols in the USHL, was with the squad in 2018-19 but did not see game action.
Open House Saturday
From 3-5 p.m. Saturday in the Schottenstein Center, the Buckeyes will host an Open House. Admission and parking are FREE. Fans will have the chance to meet members of the 2019-20 squad, skate on the ice (fans can bring their own skates, or rent for $3), take photos and more. All fans who attend will receive a free ticket to one of the Buckeyes’ games vs. Omaha Oct. 18/19 in the first home series of the year. More details are online HERE.
