Both schools ended the tournament with a score of 855 after the Buckeyes carded a 282 on the final day of play, which was their best score of the season.

The Buckeyes finished three strokes back of champion Michigan State and two back of second-place Alabama.

Aneka Seumanutafa, a sophomore for the Buckeyes, was consistent all weekend as she carded 66-71-72-209. Her 7-under par score tied her for third.

“Aneka had a very steady week and was never out of play,” Therese Hession, Ohio State director of golf, said. “It was great to see her under par and challenging for the individual title.”

Sophomore Lauren Peter ended the day with a 2-under par 70, her best score of the tournament. She finished in a tie for 36th, carding a 2-over 73-75-70-218.
