COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State field hockey team has released its 2018 fall schedule, second-year head coach Jarred Martin announced Thursday. The 19-game slate features 11 home contests at Buckeye Varsity Field.
“I am really excited for the 2018 schedule,” Martin said. “This team has been challenging themselves all spring and I am proud of what they have done. Now we will be able to bring that growth into the fall season. We have former national champions, Final Four teams and conference winners throughout the schedule that will undoubtedly bring the best out of us. Being home on Buckeye Varsity Field is something we really enjoy and having so many home games is something we won’t take from granted. We also will be traveling to some great places that will allow a lot of our families, friends and alums to come watch. The 2018 team will be a young group overall and we will learn fast. Our schedule, top to bottom, will prepare us well for postseason play. I am excited for August to see the team, welcome the new faces and play Ohio State field hockey.”
