COLUMBUS, Ohio – Five runners ran personal-best times for the Ohio State women’s cross country team in an 11th-place team finish at the 5k Notre Dame Invitational Friday afternoon.

Competing against an aggressive 18-team field in the Blue Division race, the Buckeyes compiled a total team score 249. No. 2 Florida State took the team title with 29 points, followed by No. 20 and host Notre Dame (111 points). Third place went to No. 19 New Mexico (147).

Junior Meredith Wagner was the top Buckeye finisher on the day, placing 11th overall in a time of 16:54. In the second team position, sophomore Michelle Thomas turned in another impressive performance, crossing the finish line in 17:15 for 30th place.

Rounding out scoring for the Scarlet and Gray were freshman Lexi Aughenbaugh (64th, 17:37), sophomore Nicole Hilton (66th, 17:38) and sophomore Katie Borchers (77th, 17:44).
