COLUMBUS, Ohio — Fifteen members of the Ohio State fencing program have been named to the Midwest All-Region Teams, the United States Fencing Coaches Association announced. In addition, 18 Buckeyes earned All-Central Collegiate Fencing Conference accolades.
The Buckeyes won the men’s and women’s CCFC team titles and took five of six squad championships. Ohio State, with 12 NCAA qualifiers, went on to finish fifth as a team at the 2022 NCAA Championships.
All-region awards were determined based on result and field size at each of the NCAA Regional competitions.
