Browns Summit, N.C. – The Ohio State women’s golf team finished seventh at the Bryan National Collegiate at 23-over after a final-round 293 Sunday at the Bryan Park Champions Course.
Sophomore Yukie Sasaki led the Buckeyes at 2-over to tie for 14th. Freshman Aneka Seumanutafa followed up an opening round 74 Friday before a 1-over 73 Saturday and a 1-over 73 in the final round Sunday. Senior Niki Schroder and sophomore Sofia Seldemirova, who was competing as an individual for the Buckeyes, finished right behind in a tie for 31st at 7-over.
Junior Adeena Shears shot a final round 75 to tie for 40th while freshman Lauren Peter rounded out the Buckeye lineup with a final round 1-over 73.
As a team, Ohio State finished third in par-3 scoring at 7-over while tallying the second-most pars of any team in the field with 179.
Individually, Schroeder and Sasaki tied for third in Par-3 scoring at even par. Sasaki and Seumanutafa tied for the third-most pars with 40 pars.
