The Ohio State women’s track & field team ended the indoor season ranked No. 1 in the Big Ten after their indoor conference for the first time since 2015 with a total of 112 team points.

The women achieved program history with a fourth place team finish at the 2019 indoor National Championships on the strength of seniors Sade Olatoye, Julia Rizk and sophomore Anavia Battle. Olatoye won the weight throw, and placed fifth in the shot events. Rizk became the first woman in Ohio State history to win the mile run while Battle claimed a fifth place performance in a highly competitive 200m event.

The men will be vying for their second indoor Big Ten title for the upcoming 2020 season. In 2018 the men won their first indoor title since 1993 with 101.5 points.  The men backed up their indoor performance with another championship title during the outdoor season.
