COLUMBUS, Ohio — Members of the Ohio State women’s tennis team are traveling to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for the ITA All-American Championships. The women’s tournament is being held at the Case Tennis Center at LaFortune Park before moving to the University of Tulsa for the final three days.
Prequalifying is Saturday and Sunday, with the qualifying rounds Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 7-8). The main draw is slated for Wednesday through Sunday (Oct. 9-13).
Luna Dormet and Danielle Wolf are both in the 96-player prequalifying draw, which starts Saturday. Wolf plays at 10 a.m. ET vs. Laia Conde Monfort of Tulsa, while Dormet takes on Texas A&M’s Lucia Quitero at 12:30 p.m. ET.
Isabelle Boulais earned a spot in the main draw, while Kolie Allen (a main draw alternate) and Shiori Fukuda will be in qualifying.
In doubles, the Buckeye tandems of Boulais/Wolf and Fukuda/Allen will both be in qualifying.
The singles quarterfinalists, consolation finalists, plus the doubles semifinalists and consolation finalists, will earn automatic entry into the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships slated for Nov. 6-10 in Newport Beach, Calif.
